Hydraulic Trim and Forming Presses

A trim press is a type of press designed for sizing and forming plastic and textile products. Due to the high precision required in trimming, the speeds and pressures of these presses are controlled using proportional valves and linear scales.

Machine concept and job-specific parameters are determined together with the customer, such as:

Trim Press:

  • The hydraulic power unit is our own design and manufacture.
  • Hydraulic equipment is PARKER brand.
  • Cylinders and pistons are designed according to high safety factors.
  • Piston surface is induction hardened and chrome plated.
  • Variable displacement pump and power-regulated pump
  • System pressure and ram speed control can be controlled by proportional valves.
  • Hydraulic system complies with CE standards

PRESS FRAME

  • Rigid H-type frame
  • Construction designed using finite element analysis (FEA)
  • Lower table, columns, and upper bridge can be manufactured as monoblock or modular depending on application.
  • Internal stress relief is performed on all welded joints.
  • Spacious platform on upper bridge for hydraulic system.
  • Connection possibility using vibration-dampening feet to the ground

RAM BODY MECHANICS

  • Rigid ram construction
  • Eight vertical plates with bronze material bearings at four corners on columns
  • Automatic lubrication
  • Servo-hydraulic ram parallelism control when required
  • Mechanical adjustment capability in bearings
  • Hydraulic cushioning in ram movement

MOBILE TABLE (Optional)

  • High-speed table axis movement can be performed by hydraulic cylinder or servo motor.
  • Table movement is supported by graphite bronze bearings.
  • Precise hydro-mechanical locking at end points for table movement.

SAFETY

  • Front and rear passages are protected by (Sick brand) light barriers and/or mechanical fence with electrical switch.
  • Ram is hydraulically locked in upper position for adjustment or maintenance purposes.
  • Ram movement can be mechanically locked at any position (optional)
  • Shock absorber application with adjustable stroke limiting feature (optional)
  • Two-hand start buttons
